Kara Frances Yoesting, my late daughter worked at Molly Murpheys. Her costume was Rainbow Bright. The other characters who worked there were the Drink Fairy and some others whose names I don't remember but would love to hear from them. I went there on one of my birthdays and the lap dance was wild, I was so embarassed. Raechel Brown of the Band Crocodiles is my neice. Her husband works for the company that books bands including the Flaming Lips. His name is Derrick Brown. Raechel bought me the book. I want to tell those who remember Kara from Molly Murpheys hello.

My family went to Molly Murphy's OKC when I was six years old. My mom was 9 months pregnant and was having a c-section the next day. Still to this day I remember the waitress sitting on mom's barely there lap. I thought it was so funny that my parents let me eat under the table like a "rug rat." 23 years later I still remember how much my family laughed that night! Great memories!

I will always remember MM! I remember the first time visiting MM as a little kid and drinking my first "shirley temple" (virgin of course) and was amazed by the salad bar and just the lively atmosphere. We visited MM on special occasions and the last visit was on my 16th birthday. I was very sad when the doors closed and here's hoping for a come back one day soon. Thanks for all the wonderful memories.

I worked in Tulsa from 84-86. I was Kelly Caluclator, Jungle Jane, and Jeanie. I loved working at MM and wish that someone would open something like that again. I was very happy to find this website.

Funny thing is... i only spent about 6 months in OKC back in 1979. i had one of the most memorable nights of my life with a young lady named, KJ, and for some reason i never forget that night at MM. That's sort of amazing, isn't it? One night long ago, and it was so very special as to hold a place in my heart. KJ, i have NO idea where you are; i'm sure your company made MM even greater for a displaced soul back at the end of the disco era. Warm thoughts of YOU, MM, and maybe you'll even get to re-open some day.

I had to smile when I came across this website. I worked at the Tulsa Molly's for the first couple of years. I started out as Little Orphan Annie but quickly learned I would make more tips with less costume so I became "Bee". I have laughted many times over the years at the number of men that would say, honey I have a stinger just like your and with a big smile on my face I would reply "yes, and I bet you do". My stinger was only about 3-4 inches long.
It was so much fun, after I quit working full time, I contiuned to work on Thurday nights and sometimes on weekends, after that I only worked if Mike Rogers needed someone will fill a shift.
It was never like work...it was a party every night.

I remember going to Molly Murphy's in 1990 and the staff and the food were excellent. Unfortunately, my group and I were extremely rude to them. I remember throwing a piece of lettuce. So if any of the former staff from that time are reading this, I would like to apologize.

I worked at the OKC Molly Murphy's in 1986. That was a fun crowd! Alfalfa, a Clown/Karamozov Brother, and Carl (Caddyshack gardner). We also had a GREAT Michael Jackson. I was a hostess (Southern Bell)/wait assistant (Poodle Skirt) while I worked there. That may have been the most fun I ever had working in my life.

I remember going to Molly's when I was a little girl in the mid 80's. My family had a blast!!! Our waiter poured drinks from a piture while standing on our seats (the glass was sitting on the table). My brother and I would try to do this when we got home. We always made a mess pouring water all over the place. I wish it was still open, I would so take a trip to OKC just to eat there!!!!
